Since the recent (from most accounts) lackluster 40th anniversary of SNL, there have been a few American thinkpieces dredged around the innernet about Lorne Michaels’ other sketch comedy show, Kids in the Hall. I think I was juuuuust a couple years too young to really ‘get it’ when the show was on air. For me, I remember watching it after school in syndicated format. It was (and still is) weird, uncomfortable and hilariously Canadian.
